We have been improving technology since our beginnings to make it more sustainable, more human.
We design technology from recycled waste
All products made with Acrystone® (resin shower trays, panels and bathroom countertops) use resin with 25% post-consumer recycled PET bottles.
Our shower trays recycle plastic
Each mcbath shower tray recycles 100 1.5l bottles of recycled PET.

Natural raw materials
The raw materials we use are natural. 75% of each Acrystone® shower tray and countertop are high quality, high purity dolomite.
Thanks to the research and development of advanced technologies, we have an exceptional material that far exceeds the traditional ones. A strong, premium and abundant material in our environment.
Efficient manufacturing processes
The manufacturing processes we use are energy efficient.
The polymerisation reaction of the resin and the mineral does not require any energy input because it is an exothermic reaction.
That being said, there is still an energy requirement in the curing process of the shower trays. In this phase, mcbath uses sustainable energy sources such as pellets, avoiding the use of fossil fuels in the process.

Mcbath is committed to extending the useful life of its products as far as its technology allows, because we understand that making products last longer is key to reduce the energy consumption and the environmental impact caused by marketing and manufacturing them.
In Acrystone® the bonds between the resin and the mineral guarantee exceptional mechanical properties.
Gelcoat is used on the outer layer, a technical and decorative coating widely used on ship hulls or wind turbine blades, highly resistant to harsh environments.
Products can be repaired and renovated, extending their life even further.
