Since our beginnings, we have been improving technology to make it more sustainable, more humane.

ACTIONS ON RAW MATERIALS

We create technology from waste

All products made with Acrystone® (shower trays, panels, bathtubs, washbasins and bathroom countertops) use resin with 25% post-consumer recycled PET bottles.

Our shower trays recycle plastic

Each of our shower trays recycles 100 1.5l bottles of recycled PET.

Natural raw materials

The raw materials used are natural. 75% of the composition of Acrystone® shower trays and countertops is high-quality, high-purity mineral filler.

Thanks to the research and development of advanced technologies, we have an exceptional material that far exceeds the traditional ones. A strong, premium and abundant material in our environment.

CLEANER PRODUCTION ACTIONS

Efficient manufacturing processes

The manufacturing processes we employ are energy efficient. The chemical reaction of polymerisation of the resin and the mineral does not require any energy input, it is known as an exothermic reaction.

Replacing cardboard pallet packaging with recyclable packaging

Even so, there is still an energy input in the curing process of the dishes. For this, we use 100% sustainable energy sources. And to achieve the cleanest possible production, we carry out the following actions.

In addition, we monitor the quantities consumed and their evolution on a weekly basis in order to reduce the amount of material required per unit of product and to analyse the possibility of using more sustainable raw material options.

In compliance with the law, we define the environmental aspects of the organisation which come from the products or services of our company that interact with the environment.

ACTIONS IN PRODUCT DESIGN

Time-defying materials

We use materials that are made to last in order to extend the life of our products as long as technology allows. Because to reduce the consumption and environmental impact surrounding the manufacture and marketing of our products, it is best to make them last.

In addition, our surfaces and panels made with Acrystone® - Acryprint®, have a total content of 11% carbonate filler and mixed recycled polyester, composed of pre- and post-consumer material. This achievement is accredited by the SCS Global Services Recycled Content certificate, which makes them even more sustainable.

Acrystone®

The bonds between the resin and the mineral guarantee exceptional mechanical properties.

Gelcoat

We use Gelcoat on the outer layer, a technical and decorative coating from intensive use on ship hulls or wind turbine blades, highly resistant to aggressive environments.

Repairable solutions

These products can be repaired and recovered, extending their life even further with our repair kits.
